The property comprises a site totalling 12 acres. Approximately 4.5 acres of the site are currently in used for commercial purposes. It has been in use as a food production and cold storage facility since the mid 1970’s. The existing buildings provide two cold store freezer units, a temperature controlled production unit, offices, staffroom and changing rooms, an interconnecting loading bay area, with four dock level loading doors, including three dock levellers and a warehouse bay with a minimum eaves height of 28’ 2” (8.58 m).

The site is landscaped and has an extensive car parking area for staff and visitors and a separate loading area. There is a detached laboratory building.

The buildings are of steelframe construction with corrugated cement sheeting to walls and roofs, together with part blockwork elevations and part profile steel cladding.

The two main cold stores have design parameters for temperatures down to -27 degrees for Cold Store 1 and -22 degrees for Cold Store 2. Both have heated floors.

The residual land is currently under agricultural use.
