Description

The premises are predominantly formed of a large meeting hall, with kitchenette and WC facilities. During normal hours of operation Peter Rabbit Nursery School occupy the building for use as a children's nursery.

The unit is located on Sutherland Memorial Park in Burpham, opposite Sainsburys and adjacent to large public playing fields.

Proposal

The Council of the Borough of Guildford are looking for a Voluntary Community Organization to lease the Amenities Club at Sutherland Memorial Park whilst not in operation by the existing user. Any applicant must be able to demonstrate that they can operate the venue safely (including meeting all H&S requirements), at no cost to the council. Undertake all administration (inc the billing and cash handling, run a separate bank account and prepare accounts for the operation). Open and close the venue and keep it clean.

Permitted Use

User Class E/F2 to use the club as a community hall for the benefit of the local community.
