Launching the Central Winchester Regeneration Opportunity
The Central Winchester Regeneration Opportunity is a “once-in-a-generation” opportunity to deliver a new quarter in the city centre overlooking Winchester Cathedral.
Winchester City Council is seeking a partner under a development agreement structure to deliver a mix of residential, commercial, leisure and retail uses across a 3.68-acre city centre site.
The development proposals include approx:
• 180,000 sq ft of residential space
• 80,000 sq ft mixed-uses including creative maker space, office space, hotel and leisure
• 25,000 sq ft of retail and F&B
The Requirement
We invite bids by prospective partners through a competitive public procurement process.
The opportunity will be launched via the procurement portal which can be accessed at winchesterregeneration.co.uk from 17 March 2022.
