YHA Newcastle Central serves as one of the city’s largest hostels comprising of 238 bed spaces across 52 en suite bedrooms, alongside the Carliol Square Café. The property was originally a period office building which has been converted into a hostel. The building is arranged over basement, ground and three upper floors. The bedrooms are located predominantly on the three upper floors with a large Café called Carliol Square Café to the ground floor, a bean bag TV lounge, secure luggage storage and ancillary areas.
