Felixstowe is an attractive coastal town, best known as one of the largest container ports in Europe. It also has a thriving shopping area and a number of cultural and commercial facilities catering for the local community and beyond. The site is in the centre of the main shopping area in a prime trading position.
Felixstowe is about 12 miles from Ipswich, the county town of Suffolk, which is one of the principal commercial and financial centres of East Anglia. The town is approximately 70 miles north east of central London, 55 miles south east of Cambridge, 43 miles south of Norwich and 18 miles north east of Colchester.
Felixstowe is served by the A14 dual carriageway, which in turn links to the A12, thereby giving access to the motorway network via the M11 and M25. It also benefits from train services which connect to fast Inter-City trains from Ipswich to London Liverpool Street.
The Link is centrally located on Hamilton Road, one of the main shopping thoroughfares in Felixstowe. With numerous other prominent retailers and services nearby, including Caffè Nero, Edinburgh Woollen Mill, Greggs, Boots, plus TSB and Santander banks, Felixstowe is also well served with supermarket branches including Tesco, Morrisons and Lidl. There are numerous restaurants, bars and cafés in the town as well as the very attractive seafront with numerous walkways.
