Main school building and Homewood block
Bramdean School comprises a terrace of former residential properties over four storeys, which have been converted into a single building and make up the main school teaching premises. The ground floor comprises classrooms, offices, toilet facilities, a library and a sitting room. Further classrooms and offices are provided on the first and second floors and changing and shower facilities are provided in the basement. The total floor area of the main school building is approximately 927 sq m (9,976 sq ft). There is also a sports hall which is open to the back of the main school building. To the rear of the main school premises is an additional two storey building known as the Homewood block providing a further 6 classrooms, totalling approximately 279 sq m (3,006 sq ft).
The Chapel, Drama studio and Art studio
To the south of the main school building is a Chapel which was built in the 1980s. It provides a large open area on the ground floor as well as a dining room, kitchen, toilet facilities and store rooms. The first floor provides further classrooms and two science laboratories within the mansard roof.The total floor area of the Chapel is 912 sq m (9,812 sq ft). In the south eastern corner of the site is a single storey art studio which provides a further two classrooms, totalling 93.7 sq m (1,008 sq ft). To the west of the art studio is a single storey drama studio which comprises 2no. store rooms and studio space, with a total floor area of 107 sq m (1,146 sq ft). The total site area of Lot 1 is approximately 0.34 Ha (0.84 acres)
The Playing Field
To the east of the main school premises on the other side of Homefield Road is the former school playing field. The field is accessed directly off Homefield road and extends to approximately 0.51 Ha (1.26 acres)
