The land extends to 11.38 hectares (28,13 acres) and is located to the south of Hucclecote Meadows, Upton St Leonards, Gloucestershire. The Bovis 'Coopers Edge' development lies immediately adjacent to the east, with the village of Upton St Leonards to the south.

The site has been forwarded by the Local Authority as a potential option for a housing/community use in the Stroud District Local Plan Review (G3 site reference, South West Brockworth).
