Totnes is a popular and historic market town and administrative centre of the South Hams in South Devon, being renowned as an area of outstanding natural beauty. The town is approximately 22 miles (45.5 km) to the south-west of Exeter, 24 miles (39.3 km) to the east of Plymouth and six miles (11.2 km) to the west of Torbay.
