The Birmingham canal provides the southern and eastern boundaries. Residential apartments and employment units are located to the north with an established site entrance off Seven Stars Road to the west.
Seven Stars Road links directly to Birmingham Road (A457) to the north and Park Lane to the south. Birmingham Road provides a link from Sedgley to the west and to Birmingham city centre to the south east. Park Lane provides a link to the Hagley Road and western Birmingham. The site has proximity to Junction 2 of the M5 motorway providing convenient access to the national motorway network.
The site is roughly triangular in shape and is cleared of buildings with majority hardstanding and the remains of building footprints. A mound of demolition debris is located behind the site access. A brick wall forms a boundary to the canal and an element of the Seven Stars Road frontage. The remainder comprising a dwarf brick wall with steel palisade fencing above. The northern boundary comprises a high galvanised profile fence.
